Is DFW short on ColdFusion programmers?

ColdFusion

Last night at the DFWCFUG meeting I thought it would be a good idea to mention that we are looking for a contractor to come help us out with some maintenance/new development for a 4ish month contract.

Well, I wasn't the only one with that idea.  TEK Systems (the recruiter who offers the meeting room to us) announced they needed to fill a contract for Verizon.  After that announcement,  there were another 4 positions announced among our various members.

While it seems to be a good time to be a ColdFusion-ist in Dallas/Fort Worth...it might turn out to be a difficult time to find one to hire!

ps... if you are interested in an on-site contract position email me at aaronjlynch AT gmail DOT com

Just doing some recent job searching it would seem DFW is not alone. There are a multitude of positions, contract, full-time, etc. out there. In my opinion some of the contract positions should be considering remote developers as an option. It opens the field to a broader range of talent.
