Interesting Small Business Statistics

While doing some market research for my day job, I came across some interesting data relating to SMBs (small to medium sized businesses).
80% of small businesses with web sites (less than 500 employees) rely on web hosting providers to host their websites. But, get this...70% of small businesses don't have web sites at all!
Reasons for this reluctance to join the 21st century:
- Don't want to spend money on things that do not guarantee a payoff.
- The smaller businesses may not have the technological expertise on staff to assist with such an undertaking.
