ColdFusion...dead language?
ColdFusion
When I first started on my want-to-be-a-programmer path, I was lucky enough to have a good buddy who was a great ColdFusion programmer. (Thanks Dave for all the shared knowledge!)
As I really started to dig in, and find joy in the work, I started talking to other people about it. I was pretty surprised to find that there were a lot of negative comments about ColdFusion. (I think that it is probably more related to the pre-MX CF, but I guess everyone is a critic too.)
I haven't doubted my choice of languages to focus on, but the latest Tiobe.com ranking of programming languages helps reinforce it even more.
Number 18 and gaining fast
